I can't belive I am actually writing this because I have been in serious denial but I weigh just over 17st! I need to loose a hell of a lot and I can't do it alone. I'm starting my diet tomorrow and I need a buddy to help me out. I have tried to loose weight before but I tend to slip into not eating at all and then bingeing. I need to do this properly and healthily because my weight is ruining my life. I am 23 but living the life of an old lady.

  • like you have loads to loose! am about 20 stone, have tried every diet going!! but this is going to be the year i do well, may be we can help each other out, am just 40 but young at heart its just the body thats not!!

  • Hi Lola, I had that problem with the thread too but they've come up now - it also took a day and a half for my last post to come up so maybe they've had less staff working on the website over the New Year. I'm on day 4 now, finding it fine so far although I do keep getting very tempted by biscuits - hope I can last the whole fortnight! I'm finding all the healthy foods more expensive than what I usually eat though (I'm a student so I really need to watch the pennies). Before I started this challenge I'd cook up great pans of macaroni cheese, spaghetti bolgnese, chilli con carne etc then freeze it so I could eat cheaply for days, but now all the fresh salad and everything's getting quite pricey. Has anyone found a cheap way of eating healthily? Good luck to those of you just starting, I hope you get on well! Those of you continuing, stay strong and let us know how you're getting on.
