I can't belive I am actually writing this because I have been in serious denial but I weigh just over 17st! I need to loose a hell of a lot and I can't do it alone. I'm starting my diet tomorrow and I need a buddy to help me out. I have tried to loose weight before but I tend to slip into not eating at all and then bingeing. I need to do this properly and healthily because my weight is ruining my life. I am 23 but living the life of an old lady.

  • Well done Pam, hope you keep enjoying it. I'm all set to start tomorrow, actually quite looking forward to it. Doubt the optimism will last long for me though! Good luck to you all on your first or second days.

  • Hi everyone, looks like we are all starting today, so I hope you all wake up ready for your bowls of cereal, not sure if this is going to work as I have recently become a terrible snacker, I can feel my clothes fighting to grow into a bigger size which I refuse to grow into... xxx

  • I've had my cereal breakfast (I don't normally bother with breakfast at all but I thought I should stick to the plan as rigidly as possible). I walked past some delicious-looking biscuits my housemate had left out for us and I managed to resist taking one - was rather pleased with myself, but then again it's only 10am so there's plenty of time to give in yet! Good luck to everyong starting today!

  • I'm not really one for breakfast either but I had my cereal for breakfast too. I'm a bit concerned that the plan the website has given me has me eating too much so I'm cutting out one meal a day in exchange for fruit or cereal. I think that should give better weight loss and still be sustainable. What do you guys think? Today is ok so far, but then it's only a few hours in. I think the challange lies in keeping this up, although when I actually see some weightloss then I guess I will be encouraged to keep going. My goals are to have lost enough weight to wear a size 14 (I'm 18/20 now) dress on my birthday in april and more long term to get fit enough to train for and do a triathlon. What are your goals?
