  • Hi Stacey,One of the best exercises for losing weight at any time is brisk walking. Ditch the heels, put on some trainers get baby into the buggy or pram and go for it girl! you can do it and just getting out will help to cheer you up. Chuck those chocs and settle for fruit, it is cheaper than chocs and sooo... good for you yet helps with the need for sweetness. You don't need to go to the gym either. Get a Pilates ball (also called a Fitball) got mine from Tesco and a book called The Fitball Workout by Jan Endacott (published by Hamlyn) . This works a treat and the exercises are really fun to do. I have lost just over a stone in a month. measure all your portions, I weigh mine then find things like yoghurt pots and measuring cups that hold just the right amount, it makes it all so much easier. The Special K diet really does work and you won't feel hungry. I work shifts so I find it best to have my Special K morning and evening and my meal at midday. I also have a good portion of fresh fruit salad every day. My main meal is often something with a salad, or stir fry. My non-stick frying pan is my life saver as I can cook anything in it with no fat. I even make toasted sandwiches in it! Goodluck and I hope things go eally well for you. I'm a 60year old mother of 4 and grandmother. so go for it accept and like yourself for who you are and don't give up when you come unstuck, just carry on with the diet and exercise and remember you haven't let yourself down if you have a snickers bar. it is just a small hiccup that's all. Good luck with your efforts and post a reply in a couple of weeks . Melanie - Hull

  • Hi stacey I have 2 children and still have a jelly belly. It does my head in. I go to the gym and do 200sit ups a day but the jelly doesn't go. If you can breast feed do it. It is the best thing to shift the weight and but your tummy back to where it was (breastfeeding makes your tummy go back).
