This might help. I work in a care home where the food is really good. I always take my own healthy meal( I work various shifts) usually a box of fresh fruit salad. When they have things like Scampi and fish and chips the gorgeous smell is so tempting. I ask the cook for Just ONE piece 0f scampi which I eat really slowly and really enjoy without any guilt. and have my healthy meal. When it is chips I have just 4 chips in a little bowl and put salt and vinegar on them and relish the taste, but I eat my healthy meal. This way I don't feel deprived. Ask one of your mates to put just 4 chips and a little sauce on a small plate for you and try it. Good luck - Melanie Hull
