The Challenge shoudl be used as a kick start towards a healthier lifestyle and this includes ensuring you are sensible about your consumption of alcohol.

When off The Challenge and working towards your healthier lifestyle, you should still ensure that you watch your consumption of alcohol. Official advice for women is to consume no more than 14 units and men no more than 21 units per week.

A typical glass of wine (175mls) contains 2 units, a single measure of spirit contains 1 unit and a pint of regular beer/lager/cider contains 2 units. Choose healthier options like white wine spritzers with slimline tonic or use mixers like low cal colas or lemonade.

I heard that gin and vodka are some of the best spirits to drink when out...with a diet mixer.

Hello. I am on day two of the 2 week plan and wanted some advice. I sometimes have a snack between cereal, namely the Special K products. On the occasion when I am really hungry I may also have a low fat yoghurt or a piece of fruit. I just wondered if anyone has been on this for very long and has the same sort of problem and whether I should just try and cut snacks out all together!? I think it is all in my mind but since I started this plan all I can think about is food! Any help would be much appreciated! :)
