It's easy to tone up your arms and shoulders with
these simple exercises. Wave goodbye to bingo wings and get
ready to show off new slender shoulders.
Peek a boo
One great way to combine exercise with playing games with your
baby. Stand away from the cot, holding onto the side - make sure
the cot is a sturdy one. Bend your elbows outwards while taking
your body towards the cot, keeping your body straight, and saying
'boo' as you peek over.
Your baby will love playing 'peek-a-boo', and this easy press up
will help you tone up those arms.
Tone up!
Stand with your back against a wall then take ½ a pace away. Put
your hands flat against the wall behind you and push as hard as
possible, holding for 10 seconds. Repeat 3 times and you'll soon
feel the burn.
Requires will power
Stand with the wall on your right side. With your arms straight
by your sides, take your right arm out until the back of your hand
is touching the wall. Push it as hard as you can against the wall
and hold for 10 seconds. Rest, then repeat 3 times and feel your
forearms really enjoying a workout. Don't forget to do the
left.
Shoulder circles
Stand with your arms straight out to the side at shoulder
height, and make small circles as fast as you can 20 times. Rest,
then repeat 2 more times. Keep your shoulders pressed down.
For an extra workout, hold light weights in your hands.
